Museums are often regarded as sacred spaces within the art world, with artists striving their entire careers for the honor of being included in the coveted permanent collections of well-known institutions. These spaces hold the power to validate an artist’s work (and life); they offer a form of immortality through preservation and exhibition.
The final form of this project requires another museum to display the wall taken from a different institution. By achieving a dialogue between multiple spaces and creating a poetic loop of displacement and belonging.
